It’s my MARKet, so I’m gonna Share…It is definitely not a good thing that it is now more dangerous to shop Black Friday sales than being in Times Square on New Year’s Eve back in the 1970’s. Mace, muggings, pepper spray, fights. The back aisles of Target and Wal-Mart now have more arrests than the riots that follow an NBA championship…So Ashton Kutcher got caught cheating and he and Demi Moore have separated. I guess he got tired of hearing “Dude, where’s my Activia”…Herman Cain is mulling dropping out of the presidential race because of an unending stream of accusations of sexual harassment and affairs. These issues have put Newt Gingrich in the polls, another paragon of virtue who told his wife dying of cancer he wanted a divorce. And the show goes on where the Republicans beat each other out of the race until there is nobody left of substance. You ask me, I would rather vote for a guy who has somewhat of a past than one who proclaims total innocence for two reasons. Reason one is it shows me the guy is human and honest about his failings. Why we expect our politicians to be perfect when we aren’t is beyond me. The second reason is that guy number two, who claims innocence, is lying. Nobody’s totally innocent. Elect candidates on how they would lead the country and their stance on national issues, not if they showed their humanity and goofed up……Is there a camera that a pregnant Jessica Simpson won’t pose for? Every picture of her just screams “Look at me, I’m pregnant, pay attention.” I think she and her future child would be better off if instead she took the tact of “I’m pregnant, I’m gonna have some self respect now and have my baby in private”……Not much made me happier than seeing the Buffalo Bills lose a game because of a selfish act by a player. Steve Johnson scored a touchdown and proceeded to do a long routine that included miming NY Jet Plaxico Burress getting shot and an image of a jet plane crashing to the ground. It made all the highlight reels. This stunt cost his team 15 yards on the ensuing kick-off. One bad kick-off later, the Jets are in great field position, quickly score and never looked back. Steve Johnson and the Bills touchdown-danced their way out of the playoffs. Not such a highlight now….The commercial for The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas featuring dancing oddities in the elevator is absolutely riveting to me.......How great is Katey Sagal? She started out as a Harlette, a Bette Midler back-up singer. She then moved to the small screen and re-defined TV moms by playing Peg Bundy. Now she is Emmy bait with every performance she gives as Gemma on Sons of Anarchy. If she doesn’t get nominated for her compelling work this season as the manipulative queen of the motorcycle gang, it’s a crime…Bobby Valentine will be the new manager of the Boston Red Sox. Baseball just got a whole lot more interesting at Fenway…I don’t care that it’s been on a million years in a ton of different versions, Law & Order is always worth watching…The so-called Congressional Super Committee failed to come up with a solution or even a compromise to help solve the nation’s economic policies. The one job these people had and they failed to come even close to delivering. When was the last time at your job you didn’t deliver on a project with no repercussions? Congress. It must be nice…… Coming soon, the MARKet Share Year in Review.
