It’s my MARKet, so I’m gonna Share…Note to self: Next time I eat at McDonald’s, remember to ask for seating in the no-beatdown section…With all the coverage of the Royal wedding, I find it odd that nobody points out Prince Harry looks nothing like his father or brother, but rather he has the same red hair and same chin as James Hewitt, Princess Diana’s former lover…There is nothing better than watching your kid succeed at sports. I get a thrill every time I watch my two boys compete…While I find it sad that President Obama had to respond to Donald Trump’s allegations and finally release his birth certificate, it bothers me that he just didn’t do it ages ago given how simple a request it was. As obnoxious as Trump was about the whole thing, President Obama could and should have made it a non-issue a long time ago…I wonder which is more painful: getting beaten, sliced, dismembered and killed playing Mortal Kombat or knowing you are one out of 77 million people whose personal information was stolen for using a Sony Playstation to play the game. I am pretty sure the damage from the identity theft will hurt more and last longer, but seeing a spine ripped from a body definitely looks cooler…Superman is going to renounce his American citizenship and instead be a hero to the world. Sure, easy to say for a guy who can’t exactly be deported back to Krypton for being an illegal alien…True story - A Chinatown, NY pet store owner whose store was ravaged by fire, reported the death of over 1,000 goldfish. Plans are under way to visit numerous school carnivals to restock the inventory…Good luck to NBC in trying to hire the new boss for The Office. Steve Carell’s work was original and masterful. Best of luck to him as he goes into movies full time…On a related note, Will Ferrell’s return to TV in the guest stint as potential new boss DeAngelo Williams has been absolutely hysterical……Baseball season is now in full swing and as I write this, the Met’s are one of the hottest teams in the league with a six game win streak under their belts. Who would have thunk that? Of course, they are still below .500 and in second-to-last place, two positions everybody thunked…I admit I love a lot of the applications on Facebook, until they tell me that to allow them, I need to allow access to all my friends and personal information. I feel comfortable in knowing they don’t need to know my high school and college friends just so I can answer a survey on what was the best concert I ever saw…Pizza is just the best food ever. In second and third place are cheeseburgers and French fries……The next time the U.S. Postal Service announces they are short funds and need to raise the rates again to mail a letter, someone ought to suggest having the drug-riddled bike team they spend (waste?) millions on each year to deliver the mail. If you can’t afford to live on the budget you have, most would stop spending on luxuries. Sponsoring a team in a sport nobody in America cares about, that competes in events everywhere but America, but asking American’s to pay more to help continue that sponsorship, is just plain wrong…How do the people who have all the time in the world to camp out on line for days for new Apple product releases afford them? They clearly don’t have jobs they are worried about……I love the satisfaction I get from balancing my check book every month……Would love to offer my monthly celebrity train wreck of the month. Unfortunately, the celebrities have behaved lately. Fingers crossed though for a double dose of celebu-crazy next month to make fun of…It’s official, I have done these now for over a year. While I have not exactly set a grueling pace, I do enjoy the discipline and process of putting these together and sharing them with you. I appreciate all the comments positive and negative, public and private that I have received. If you are a regular reader or if you stumbled here by accident, I thank you for coming……OK, I’ve shared. Now it’s your turn. Agree? Disagree? Have at it. See you next month.
