'Twas the night before Super Bowl
And all through Big D
The teams were preparing
For their destiny
The Steelers from Pittsburgh
The Pack from Green Bay
Will leave it all on the field
To claim they own the day
The Steelers are fierce
In their yellow and black
Led by defense and big Ben
They are primed to attack
Don't misjudge the Packers
In their green, white and yellow
Aaron Rodgers is tough
And their defense ain't mellow
Cowboys Stadium is the place
Though they won't be in the game
Now Jerry Jones wants revenge
And someone to blame
Replays and video at the game
Will be seen on its huge screen
Though they won't see the commercials
Which is to me kind of mean
The coin toss will be held
At the 50-yard line they'll meet
There will be no discussion
Of Rex Ryan or feet
The teams will begin battle
Bruising arms, legs and knees
Then the second quarter ends
Time for the Black-Eyed Peas
Will i. am and Fergie Ferg
Will sing while the teams nurse their bumps
Perhaps while they perform
We'll get to see Fergie's humps
Then halftime is over
The teams will return
To put into play
Revised game plans they've learned
As the points get racked up
One team will start to gloat
Where's the good sportsmanship?
Must we watch fools showboat?
And then it will end
The final gun it will sound
One team jumping for joy
The other slumped to the ground
Super Bowl is now over
One team made history
They’ll lift up the big trophy
That is called Lombardi
The ball it has bounced
'Tween teams we love or we hate
While we sit with regret
Over the 50 wings we just ate
The fans they will leave
And the teams will both bolt
To prepare for Super Bowl next year
In the home of the Colts
The teams talked the good talk
They both fought the good fight
Super Bowl '11 is now over
And to all a good night
